A Fuzzy Model For Work Performance Assessment

چکیده

A person’s work performance is mainly based on their qualities and on the job position held. Several models have been proposed to assess this performance by means of a set of predictor variables (qualities) and all the models consider boolean variables, i.e. the presence-absence of each quality in each person and the need or not of a particular quality for a certain job. In despite of the used model, it is clear that both the qualities and their relevance for each job position are imprecise factors being more correctly assessed in [0,1] rather than in {0,1}. In this paper, we propose a model for the work performance assessment by using fuzzy logic. We propose to assign the relative importances of the attributes by means of the OWA operators. This process will be used both for global factors and for elementary factors which comprise the socalled global ones (group variables).
